Piri Reis Üniversitesi is a foundation university established in İstanbul in 2008. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the faculties of maritime, engineering, economics and administrative sciences, and law. The campus in Tuzla is located in the shipyard area of İstanbul. It has an academic structure specialized in maritime and naval engineering. It was founded by the Turkish Maritime Education Foundation. Maritime education is provided with the training ship. Research projects are being developed in the fields of maritime law and logistics. Various academic merit-based scholarship programs are available. International exchange programs and academic collaborations are carried out. Student clubs organize events in various fields.
