Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi is a state university established in Ankara in 1956. The university, where the language of instruction is English, offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the faculties of engineering, architecture, arts and sciences, economics and administrative sciences, and education. The main campus in Çankaya is located in a forest area of approximately 4,500 acres and is one of the largest campuses in Turkey. The campus includes a library, culture and congress center, sports facilities, a lake, student dormitories, and social areas. ODTÜ Teknokent hosts technology companies within the scope of university-industry cooperation. With its research-oriented academic structure, projects are carried out in the fields of defense industry, aviation, information technology, and energy.
