İzmir Kavram Meslek Yüksekokulu is a foundation vocational school of higher education established by the Kavram Eğitim Vakfı with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated July 12, 2008, under the name İstanbul Kavram Meslek Yüksekokulu. With the decision of the Council of Ministers dated March 15, 2018, its headquarters were moved to İzmir and its name was changed to İzmir Kavram Meslek Yüksekokulu. It started its education activities in İzmir in the 2018-2019 academic year. More than 50 associate degree programs are conducted at its campus in İzmir-Konak; the programs include Computer Programming, Justice, First and Emergency Aid, Child Development, Foreign Trade, Graphic Design, Banking and Insurance, Social Services, and Civil Aviation Cabin Services. Second education programs are also available. The mission of İzmir Kavram MYO is to prepare an applied education environment that takes into account the needs of the real sector and to train professional staff who can transform knowledge into skills. Graduates can gain the right to transfer to four-year undergraduate programs through the Dikey Geçiş Sınavı (DGS). İzmir's ease of transportation facilitates access to the campus with public transportation options such as buses, minibuses, İZBAN, and the İzmir Metro. The vocational school, which is affiliated with the Kavram Eğitim Vakfı, is a foundation institution recognized by T.C. YÖK. ---
