İstanbul Üniversitesi-Cerrahpaşa is a state university established in 2018 by separating from İstanbul Üniversitesi. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the faculties of medicine, engineering, forestry, health sciences, veterinary medicine, law, and sports sciences. Educational activities are carried out in Avcılar and Cerrahpaşa campuses. Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi and Kardiyoloji Enstitüsü within the university provide healthcare services. It has a well-established research tradition in the fields of medicine and health sciences. The Faculty of Forestry conducts research on the forest areas of İstanbul.
