İstanbul Şişli Meslek Yüksekokulu is a foundation vocational school established by the İstanbul Şişli Vakfı with the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated May 18, 2012. The school, whose founding foundation was established in İstanbul in 1994, started education in the 2012-2013 academic year with nine programs and 500 students under the founding directorship of Prof. Dr. Aynur Aydın. The vocational school, which has experienced a rapid growth process, has reached a capacity of approximately 26 programs and more than 5 thousand students today. Education continues in the Maslak campus as well as the Şişli-Esentepe campus. The program range covers the fields of health, law, design, business, tourism and social services. Prominent programs include Justice, Banking and Insurance, Child Development, Physiotherapy, Graphic Design, First and Emergency Aid, Architectural Restoration, Fashion Design, Radio and Television Programming, Radiotherapy and Healthcare Institutions Management. In health programs, three terms of professional practice training are carried out within the framework of cooperation with the Public Hospitals Association. Second year students can benefit from Erasmus and AIESEC programs. Students who choose the vocational school in the first three preferences are granted a 25% Board of Trustees scholarship. The vocational school is recognized by T.C. YÖK.
