Respiratory therapists assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. They are primarily responsible for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians. They initiate and perform therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. In Türkiye, respiratory therapists work in intensive care units, emergency rooms, and respiratory disease clinics. ---
